The novel consists of two parts. The first — present passionate improbably beautiful and, apparently, unique love of the 50-year-old professor of high school and its 20-year-old student. A love poem! The second — continuation of the same love, but already at level of a farce, a parody, painful mutual torture of heroes. An agony, love treachery! All text is issued-is submitted in the form of Alexey Alekseevicha Domashneva and Alina's emejl-correspondence, and these electronic letters recreate-draw a love story, as much as possible authentically and sincerely pass feelings, thoughts of characters, in them, in these mails, ispovedalnaja frankness of a narration reaches at times a shocking limit … But thus, at frankness full, apparently, and an openness of the given (elektronno-epistolary) form in it there is a natural reticence, scantiness, punktirnost, that gives vent to imagination of the reader, awakes-urges on its ability to domyslivaniju, to coauthorship, dogadyvaniju … That original email-correspondence is put in a novel basis "Ljupof" — gives it such reliability and vitality.
