P. 3	3. My universities (1977–1982)
	Something in the poet uncontrollably ripened and was torn outside: jumoreski, feletonchiki and ocherkishki already which image did not satisfy mjatushchujusja soul. And then the future Nobel winner has seriously sat down for serious prose. — seriously, and — for serious. The author very much itself zauvazhal, has ceased to smile, has started to go constantly with thoughtful suryoznym the person (zri a photo) and even thought to replace cigarettes with a solid literary tube … Meanwhile, working in the deaf person Siberian rajonke, bathing in the short summer in ice cold Abakan, the author at times, having drunk from a pay of branded Vermouth or port of pouring of local cement works, dreamt of Moscow, Crimea, the "big" newspapers …
			Once to it even has dreamt, that it sits in bay Laspi near Sevastopol (a photo at the left) and washes feet in Black sea, as Zhirinovsky boots in Indian ocean … However, about Volfovich then it, anybody another and in the most terrible nightmares did not suspect, but here that he can work two wonderful summers in «Glory of Sevastopol», the author began to see clearly. For this purpose it was necessary to enter only the Moscow State University … In total delov!
	And here, having waited the next fatal year of the Snake, 1977, still promising future winner of the Bukerovsky award arrives on faculty of journalism of the Moscow university. And, as is known, Moscow State University journalism faculty — all fakam fak (let will shudder knowing an English!). First time yesterday's korr Siberian rajonki at lectures and seminars sat here so (a photo on the right), having propped up a head a hand for the head-golovushka was turned with happiness and unimaginable volume of knowledge, in it, a head, pushed. However, despite dizziness, to the newly made student it was possible to absorb and receive any miracle that knowledge periodically raised stipuhu, on a tchervonets more ordinary — a trifle, and it is pleasant! Studying in journalism, the author remembered all time the literary path, therefore especially regularly visited relatives on a profile spetsseminar literary criticism V.D.Oskotskogo and a special course on I.L.Volgin's Dostoevsky's creativity

Well and, of course, student's years in Moscow is a friendship at WORLD level (against the Crimean bridge pose: Sergey Rosedkin from Siberia, Expert Zhirenchi from Ghana and Michael Melnikov from Stavropol), never-ending holidays-pjanki in DASe (hostel), permanent love and infinite campaigns-walks-swayings on capital … All it has found subsequently reflexion in the novel "Drunk".
