			It was promoted much on the second year of its service by a post of the editor of the regimental radio newspaper and, as consequence of it, a separate office with a desk in a regiment staff. Fragments from it (most "decent") have been published in the collective collection «Young prose of Chernozem region» (Voronezh, 1989). And here S.Kaledin in «the New world» so it was necessary to change the name for "Barracks" was turned out whence with the konjunkturno-chernushnym "Construction battalion" , and completely the story has appeared in the book "Kriminal-show" only in 1997.
	But before it was still far … Having returned from army, the future writer with redoubled zeal undertook liked business in which regularly and passionately was engaged from 6 years — to read, read and read, spoiling sight, books (a photo on the right) for always remembered and knew: the writer is cultivated-grows only and by all means from the reader — other is not given. And meanwhile the Fate has tenderly stroked it on a head — it took in staff of the regional newspaper where it once was published for the first time. Feature of a gift of Destiny consisted that vacant there was only a place of the press photographer: it was necessary to master urgently unfamiliar business professionally and to remove-photograph tractor operators in the field, milkmaids on a farm, party workers on a tribune, and at the same time occasionally and — for history (a photo below). But to write fotokorru it was authorised, about what only the soul will wish. The soul wished to write prose, however still more plainly was not able to do it. Therefore it was necessary to compose by inertia shutejno-funny rasskaziki, but basically to comprehend journalistic genres, as that: the feuilleton, the review, the reporting, a sketch …
