The manifesto of "Group of seventeen»Russian literature became great after Russian writers of XIX century, since Ampere-second. Pushkin, have realistically recreated in the products the validity surrounding them, have shown that pleased or afflicted their contemporaries, have extremely truthfully told about sufferings and pleasures of people living near to them, having called thereby at readers compassion humiliated and offended. Thanks to products of great writers-realists all reading world not only has seen and has grown fond of Tatyana Larin and Natasha Rostovu, Petchorin and Oblomova, Bazarova and Melehova and other literary heroes, but also has learnt the truth about a spiritual life, culture, a life and customs of the people of Russia. And in Soviet, uneasy for Russian realism, times such writers as Maxim Gorky, Alexey Tolstoy, Michael Bulgakov, Michael Sholokhov, Vasily Shukshin, etc., could tell about a life of the contemporaries fairly. Now the life in Russia varies on eyes. In 1989 was one, in five years, in 1994, there was another, and now again has sharply changed. We live absolutely in other country, rather than 15 years ago: other culture, other cultural wealth, other life, other customs. But for this short term there was an unknown lifting of Russian literature, there was a set of new literary groups and directions with their various branches. Only the realism now has some directions: new realism, mystical realism, metaphysical realism, vulgar realism. And each direction, each literary group has talented leaders and representatives. But neither mystical, nor other realists, postmodernists, neither fentezisty, nor kurtuaznye maneristy, etc . Cannot show a real life of our contemporaries, at them other literary purposes, other values. Truthfully, such as it is, realists of traditional Russian direction represent a life only. Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Bitter, Kuprin, Bunin and other great realists, unfortunately, cannot tell about pains any more and pleasures of our days. Become puzzled in radical lomki the Russian society the Soviet Writers of second half of XX-th century could not comprehend and represent all sides and problems of the modern validity in the products. This problem has laid down on our shoulders, on shoulders of those who continues tradition of Russian realists! We accept their literary ideals. Only we can tell brightly, convincingly that excites that like and people who lived hate and live near to us during this prompt time for Russia, to tell about their victories and defeats, about grieves and pleasures! Only from our products all world can learn for certain about a real life of our people in our country! Only our products will inform to descendants the truth about our days, on passions and hopes humiliated and offended, about sorrows and pleasures of our contemporaries!
