«The Jewish question» — a question for cleverI offer all of us living in Russia, to take offence. Both to Jews, and Russian, and Tatars, and mordve — all! Or there will arrive from Belarus local president A.Lukashenko and in general starts to teach publicly us supposedly we is not able at all that what to solve other our problems, but even we discuss them silly — the same notorious «the Jewish question», for example. (VGTRK, 18.12.98, "Details"). Really, just right to take offence, nakuksitsja, as enemies of such well-wishers to count. And can, nevertheless — to listen? Really, and in words of the known writer-Jew, and in judgements of the president-Byelorussian is over what to all of us to reflect. And meanwhile, strangely enough, the post card to E.Topolja Berezovsky, Gusinsky, Smolensk, to Khodorkovsky and other oligarchs-Jews of Russia even on «the Jewish question» is ignored by the most extreme opponents-debaters. They as if at all would forget about this letter-bomb and shout-assure, as if "anti-Semitism" splash in Russia has begun with a demarche of gallant general Makashov in the State Duma... However, it just also is characteristic for a present situation. And about it just also spoke A.Lukashenko. The main essence of its opinion: «the Jewish question» in Russia is inflated by provokers, and first of all — from among Jews, and the basic noise create also conditions is artificial heat from their giving any "morons" which do not reflect at all on consequences. And the first consequences already also are now shown quite: in Krasnodar in mail boxes leaflets with threats to Jews are found out, barkashovtsy have openly started to show the force, to declare claims, and even at neighbours, in Tbilisi, there was unprecedented on mass character a vandalism certificate on the Jewish cemetery... It is impossible to disagree with E.Topolem and A.Lukashenko, that organizers-razduvateli of a fire like Berezovsky risk nothing and at any moment will run away to Israel or in the USA, and simple Jews, workers who side by side with Russian, Ukrainians, Tatars work will suffer from their provocative activity, suffer disasters of reorganisation Russia and as precisely hate, probably, oligarchs of all and all colours which are robing and selling their native land. But also razduvateli «the Jewish question» arrive short-sighted. The politician of a rank of Berezovsky should achieve-deserve national love, simply it is necessary to aspire to it. And whether Boris Abramovich thinks in general of it? But not to look at all in dictionaries as it is done by debaters on «the Jewish question», is in any gate does not climb. In turn, in Makashov's camp and К* to the right and on the left are scattered by a word "Jew", not reflecting at all about semantics, and not wishing to reflect. However, maybe, it and not their fault. It is their trouble. The matter is that in our country long decades tried to solve «the Jewish question» the most simple, "pridurkovatym" in the way: to forbid a word "Jew", vykorchevat from Russian. Has reached that in reprinting of dictionary Dalja of 1955 year (in the reprint!) article "JEW" has been simply withdrawn, and all subsequent editions of "a well of ALL Russian» left without it. The word it in the last century and more in the beginning of the present was used widely in everyday speech, in newspapers, magazines, books. It and in proverbs has been clearly reflected: «On any layman on seven zhidovinov», «Live, that the brother, and bargain, as the Jew», «a nobleman, and affairs zhidovin» and so forth Comes F. Well, good, talented singer Joseph Kobzon, besides, as is known, and the oligarch not from the last, will not concede, perhaps, and to Berezovsky with Gusinsky — is visible, therefore it and has accepted so close to charge heart in "zhidovstve", has begun to fuss... Let it pass, possibly, it is that case, when a thief can't hide his guilty feeling. But what charges in "zhidovstve" from provokers-morons the doctor or the teacher living for one salary can accept in the address?! It that if on analogy, to call Makashov "martinet" — all Russian army it should be offended? Or here still that is not absolutely clear:, for example, opponents-opponents accuse the deputy of the State Duma, devout communist Ilyukhin in «kindling international break a set».
