Last is written more ten years ago. By the way, fragments from it were published in the collection «Young prose of Chernozem region» with considerable editing. Now it left completely to that I am very glad. — Your feelings to me are clear. And how books are born? What role is played creative process by imagination? Whether your heroes or, roughly speaking are invented, written off from nature? — At me all products share as though on two categories — with fiction, slightly with a fantasy and strictly documentary things. I also carry "Barracks" which started to write in far 1985 to the second row. I then have sent a fragment to magazine «Soviet soldier» and have received the answer: you write, that to armies mordoboj, and such cannot be. You state thought in one of stories, in my opinion, in "Barracks" that «the book should be easily read, interesting to the reader and at the same time that the person would find there for itself an occasion to reflexions». Approximately this thought sounds so: the right to be boring belongs to the great writers known, and the beginner and the unknown person should write necessarily interestingly. I wish to underline, that in our literary environment there are disputes, and here till now many consider, that if you start to build a plot sharp, with murder, it any more the literature, and imitation I Will sink down. And I always remind such people of Dostoevsky. To me speak then: well, it is Dostoevsky, this exception. You not Dostoevsky. This the first. The second. I consider any epithet for a word"realism", any adjective do not approach. The realism, it also is realism. Or it is not present... Socialist, democratic, critical... And edition has chosen the story «Fourth hunting» from this manuscript. That there are at me books in Moscow, things are published in magazines, it is the big good luck.
